Three Games you Can Play this Weekend

As the weekend quickly approaches, it’s time to play some games! We are finally getting out of the dry spot of the year and the AAA games are about to flow out and empty your wallets…but it’ll be worth it. Here are some games you can play right now!

Forza Horizon 3 (Xbox One, PC)

This was recently reviewed by myself, and you can find it here. This arcade racer is one of the best ones out there. High paced races, not caring about crashing because it’s not an elitist simulator is both invigorating and satisfying at the same time. The feel of the racing is what makes it so gratifying and fun to play. The visuals are some of the best I’ve seen and the lighting is simply phenomenal. If you have an HDR (High Dynamic Range) TV then you will enjoy the nice and subtle difference. There are a ton to do in this game and it’s enough to fill your weekend. This game is good for all gamers – racing fans or not!

Fifa 17 (Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, PC)

The game of soccer (or football) returns once again for another year. FIfa 17 comes with a new journey where you start from small beginnings and work your way up the ladder to professional leagues. Similar to NBA 2k games, it contains a story throughout the journey that may keep you drawn in if you are a fan of the sport. The developers worked with Bioware (creators of Mass Effect series) to help with dialogue features to let the players construct their own story.

XCOM 2 (Playstation 4, Xbox One, PC)

The sequel of the 2012 turn based tactical game, XCOM: Enemy Unknown is now available on console. After XCOM 2 was released on PC in February the game was critically received well. If you like games with strategy and thinking a ton about your actions then XCOM 2 is the game for you. Aesthetically the game looks pretty stylish. If you enjoy sci-fi games you will probably enjoy the story as well. This looks to be a game that you can sink many hours into.
